Travel Information:

  • Overseas travelers would be served best by flying to Brussels International Airport (official code: BRU). A train ride of about 20 min / €5 will take you from the airport to Brussels proper.
  • European travelers might also consider flying to Chaleroi – Brussels South, an airport predominantly used by low cost carrier Ryan Air. A train ride of about 1.5 hours / €15 will take you to Brussels proper.
  • European travelers coming by train might consider the Thalys or Eurostar, which stops in Brussels-Midi train station.

Train from Brussels Airport (BRU):

  • There is a train station at the lower level of the airport (station name: “Bruxelles National Airport”).
  • Take the train to “Bruxelles Centrale,” the train stop closest to the conference venue and hotel.
  • There are several trains each hour.
  • The train ride will take about 15 – 20 minutes and cost less than €5.
  • You can buy a ticket at the entrance to the station in the airport.
