If you want to simply make a response, type into the text box, scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and click “Add Reply.”
There are a number of other buttons you can use if you would like to edit your post even more. Many of the buttons are similar to ones you would find in your e-mail or in Microsoft Word. If you would like to make your text bold, highlight it and hit the button with a ‘b’ on it. If you would like to put it into italics use ‘I.’ To Underline use ‘u.’
A note however. When you hit the buttons, the text you highlighted will have tags appear next to them. Tags appear like this: [b ]this[/ b], without the spaces in them.
Some features that you might not have encountered on your e-mail or in Word. If you click on the button with the capital A and the lowercase a you’ll have three options. Subscript and superscript are similar to word. Strikethrough will
The smile button gives a dropdown menu of different similes you can use to insert into your post.
To insert a link to another website click on the arrow with the green button. A pop-up window will appear asking you to type or paste the url into the box.
To know what the other buttons do, hover your mouse over the button and text will appear telling you what the button does.
Creating a post

You should have a very similar screen to the one used to make a post. However, you have a new box called “Topic Details.” Fill in the topic title and description, and then make your post as you would normally when responding to another post. Here, we’re going to title the Post “Introduce Yourself.”
After you are finished writing your post, scroll down.
