Hi,

I'm wondering if there will be an open CFP for the first issue of Journal of Popular Romance Studies? And if there will be a deadline for submission for the first issue? And a stylesheet?
In short, any information on the (practical) side of things is welcome!

And thanks for setting up the forums! (is this post in the right forum? - should JPRS have its own forum?)

An,

For now it is the right place to post, or as good of place as any. I'll look into having JPRS have its own place. Do you think it should be open to the public, or should just be accessed by IASPR Members/Staff?

Well, JPRS business should probably be done offline. And all articles on JPRS are going to have comments enabled, so conversations ABOUT the articles (when they happen) should happen there.

However, yes, we're going to put out a CFP (or have already?) and distribute it was widely as possible.

Deadline for the first issue will be, I think I remember, October 1. Stylesheet will also be forthcoming, but after July. And probably after Brisbane, too. huh.gif

That's a good point about the comments on the journal articles. When I set up this topic I was thinking it might be places where people could talk about and discuss other journal articles other than just JPRS ones.

The Call for Papers is here, among other places: http://call-for-pape...edu/node/33333. Clearly I need to get it out and about more--will do!
